Friday Flags: Waving Me to a Good MorningWednesday mornings is my league day with another 99 seniors in the Crestbrook Park retirees league in Watertown CT. I was a bit early this week, and as I was making my way up a hill, I saw a sight that just said stop.The wind was blowing, and it had just enough strength to push this rather large flag as a way of offering direction.The morning was overcast, but the wind gods wished me well and it worked as we played a great match.It seems that taking a few moments to  appreciate what is around us becomes more common as we 'grow up'.That was definitely the case as I saw, I stopped, and I shared.Friday Flags: Waving Me to a Good Morning

  A Watertown CT Flag That Needed Some More TimeOn Wednesday mornings, I play golf in a senior league at Crestbrook Park in Watertown CT. I have so many great memories on that course and walked 18 regularly for almost 40 years.  Now my walking is limited to 9 as the hills got so much steeper and the holes longer.In front of the pro shop building is the flagpole, and as I was on the tee for the lower 9, I glanced backwards to see what we had for wind. And Then the Day is Upon Us, Class of 1966 ReunionBack in June, I started the task of hosting the class reunion for my high school.
