The only things that get my attention and command my butt to be seated, in no particular order, are:

* CA legal updates (contracts) --- Zoom Only 

* Bar Association Meetings --- In Person or Zoom

* Judge views from the Santa Clara County Probate Court Bench --- offered via Zoom only. 

There is no topic that would get me attend anything live ever again.  I see no need for me to be bodily present. 

That's a challenge for you, lol! I like a good movie, personally. 

I can't say as that I know what would get me to attend a zoom meeting Thomas J. Nelson, REALTOR ® e-Pro CRS RCS-D Vets as I have passed up a bunch already. 

Not much these days... I get "seduced" by the offer and within 15-20 minutes realize I'm listening to the "same old, same old."

Honestly, if it was my favorite speaker, it would be more about the timing than the topic to get me in the seat... 

Nix, nada! Retirement has benefits. And the same stuff in a different word salad is not going to make my day.

Lots of business topics catch my interest, always something new to learn, or be reminded of.

My daily walk/examination & interactions as presented continue to satisfy. I have found everything I am looking for (or not) right under my nose. Voila!

The desire to learn something, even if just a nugget of industry or sales knowledge to take away. That is it!

Will be attending a 2-hour, in-person seminar on Thursday for this very reason. Hope it is worth the time spent.

Something I haven't learned or heard before and the timing of course.

No fluff.  Whatever the topic, if it is a 50 minute presentation, then give me 50 minutes of real content.  Not 10 minutes of a war story, 10 minutes of something that you think is funny but no one else does, 5 minutes of rehashed content, 10 minutes of another war story, etc.  It needs to be jam-packed with solid content.

Also, I expect you to be prepared.  If you are shooting from the hip, everyone can tell.

it's not the what but the when.  I have a day job.  I do real estate on weekends and later afternoons.

new stuff, not the same old.  The last best class I took that offered something was the "2023 changes in the contract" class.

Legal Issues are my number one motivator when choosing to join any assembly.  I love hearing about items that caused lawsuits in the past.

There is ALWAYS something to learn and the minute we think we know it all, we're in deep _____! Zoom or in-person, I find your answers in our Q&A to be relevant to the way we do business in today's market.

So, I would have to say, whatever you are speaking about, I'd have my butt in a chair - as long as it was ZOOM! Traveling to CA for a class may not be my best use of time! LOL
