I'm not aware of a way to upload photos directly. You usually need to upload them first in your AR photo gallery and then load them to your blog. But, a smarter AR member may know the trick.

You can load more than 4, but it may slow the loading.

   The photos may be too large.

   Resize the photos using a free photo program like Irfanview.  Then try again.

Good for you for figuring it out.  The file size of photos is an issue.

I haven't had a problem with that. When I put thjem in a gallery they adjust and I also change the size manually which you can do.

If the photos are present you must have already successfully uploaded them - so that should not be the cause of the problem.  Next step would be to do as Liz and Bill Spear suggests...

No limit to my knowledge about number of photos as long as each photo is under 1 MB in size.  If you're having trouble with uploading, is your post a listing?  If so, leave out the address and the date initially in the bottom blocks after the post.  There's a glitch that keeps those posts from posting.  My understanding is you can go back in and edit to add after you have the post up and live.

Check your photo size. The techies will be here soon with plenty of advice.

It is good to see that you solved your problem.

Photos need to be either uploaded to the AR photo system or hosted by a third party and directly linked.

If you are trying to upload text along with photo's, that may be the issue. Try separating. Photo's need to be uploaded into AR's image manager first.
