I only ever work from home... have not worked from an office in 18 years. Much more distracting in the office.

I am far more productive working from home than I ever was working at an office.  Waaaayyyy to many distractions and drama at real estate offices for me ... at least that was my experience for the 9 years I was affiliated with a brokerage. 

I am much more productive at home;  there are no clients waiting for me in my office, only lots of other agents, many of whom like to socialize while in the office.  I can be at my desk much earlier, since no one sees me sans makeup, in my pajamas. And I can get a lot of paperwork and other work done in peace and quiet before the phone starts ringing...

Far more so than when I used to work at the office - too many distractions there with gossipy bodies roaming from office to office all day  (we didn't have a water cooler!)

This is a question of self-respect and learning self-discipline, but there are useful things you can do, like removing all clutter or at least moving it to one area in the room which is your office, and setting up your desk with clear, empty space on it.  Face your chair so your back looks at the clutter and your eyes see the empty, clear space.

You can do it.  And you're worth it!

Extremely, it is my main office and the extra time I save from not commuting to an outside office is time well spent.

I can tune out all distractions and am very productive. I work from home about half the time.

It is the only way we have worked for decades....it's a like it or you don't...being in a cube with agents buzzing all over and phone conversations everywhere is far more distracting to us.

I work from my office, I only work from home pre-8am and I'm effective that way, but I have an office to avoid the distractions of home.

I am FAR more productive from my home office!  There are too many distractions in the office setting and as much as I love the agents I work with, it's dfficult to get much done in the office! 

I have learned to work with distractions. Difficult but doable. Consider it the training necessary for mastering the discipline. Once focused, targets r hit!

When no one is home. the lack of office distraction can have me very productive. When people are home, they need to realize i am working.
