Yes, you heard that right!  We thought it would never happen, but the FHA actually AGREED that investor/flippers are doing a GOOD WORK towards promoting home ownership, and should be encouraged! Here's the link: http://www.hud.gov/offices/hsg/sfh/waivpropflip2010.pdf FHA likes the idea of investors who can buy shoddy houses & rehab them, then re-sell at an affordable price to home buyers.  They (finally) concede that fixing up and doing a "quick turn" can HELP the economy....
