Recently, I sold several homes to buyers that had been on market a tad longer because they first came on over-priced, so we made solid, reasonable offers and didn't need to participate in bidding wars. And we had sellers accept those offers (not at full ask, by the way) without any negotiating on price. Price a home right it will sell. Make the right offer and the seller with accept.
