We saw 11 parades in 3 days, met a lot of great people. It was a great time. Started out trying to catch beads and ended up dodging them. The food was a little disapointing but it is the same way here during tourist season, too many people and overworked staff.

My wife is from Baton Rouge so I know something about madri Gras but this year she educated my on King Cake. Didn't know about the plastic baby in the cake or know that if you get that slice you trhow the party the next year. From observation she didn't need to educate me on the calories.
