I honestly don't know that I have "trade" secrets to share. I'll share knowledge with anyone, because I figured out a long time ago people always ask and then don't follow up or do anything based on the knowledge imparted. Mostly because they are often looking for that "silver bullet" and it's nothing but hard work.

There are no secrets.... There's execution.  ;)

I like Nina Hollander 's answer- if I have anything to share, I am happy to share it - but I get much more from AR than I have to give. 

I can give real and good advice without giving away all my secrets

I share the market is large plus I doubt I have come up with something that someone else has not already done.

I don't worrie about giving trade or knowledge, I am happy to share information.

I have learned a lot here and like to share what I know.

I share my knowledge and experiences while I learn from others.

We are a sharing community.  So I share and I learn.  It's makes us all better and takes us all to a higher level.

Not sure that I have trade secrets, Paul S. Henderson, Realtor, Broker, Tacoma Washington ... but if I do, I don't worry about trading much.  I find that most will not follow advice ... or follow it consistently or long enough ... to do them much good.  Too much work ...

Yes I do here on AR but not to someone directly I know in my market. That might sound nasty but they are my competitors right?

Here on AR I pretty much share as much help as I possible can & know.

If asked, I will answer. Not sure I have any real secrets!

Actually, I expect those who REALLY want to know will take the second step and pick up the phone or send me a message.

I NEVER share the real trade secrets.
I do however, suggest such secrets exist. 

The outcome: No one takes step two.

I don't really consider them trade secrets, but rather just encouragement and support. The only person I really compete with is myself.

An early mentor of mine said he'd tell me everything he does to be successful, as he would with others.  Most will not do the 'work' needed, even when it is a proven method to success.

I don't have trade secrets as of yet.. I will answer questions and share my experiences.  I also appreciate the information shared by others. 

There are personal trade secrets that just couldn't be explained or appreciated.

The nice thing about Active Rain is that these members are not my direct competitors.  Anything I do can be found in a book.

No I don't. I pick and choose what questions I want to answer.

If someone asks me a question I try to answer it for them. I have no trade secrets.

No, I don't have the time to write them out.  I wouldn't mind giving them out since it mostly depends on hard work and persistence and those asking here are looking for a quick fix, and probably never utilize the tips I would give.

Paul S. Henderson, Realtor, Broker, Tacoma Washington - there is no way to convey trade secrets in a response to a question in the Q&A section here in the rain. It's just all too involved ... and it all has to be implemented which most don't do even when we do share.

I am grateful for all the knowledge and expertise that is shared here on AR. Hence, I would like to reciprocate what I can. It is not just the know how, but how one applies that knowledge that dictates one's path to success.

When I have knowledge and experiences over many years in Real Estate, I would gladly share Paul S. Henderson, Realtor, Broker, Tacoma Washington.  What little I do know or have observed, at this point, I can share now.  I have learned alot from just reading comments, and am very grateful for that knowledge.  I don't know if I would ever have trade secrets, just ones that work for me, and everyone is different.

Yes....always.... there are no secrets in real estate.... everyone has his/her own style....

I have no issues sharing "my trade secrets", doesn't matter if the person is in my market or not. Sharing is caring, give and it shall come back to you!

Nothing super secret, but there is very little in that category these days anyway.

There's enough "secrets" shared here to make everyone multi-millionaires. Implementing them... well, that's different story.
