All of my family is out of the state so I do my shopping online for them. I avoid the malls as I end up buying stuff for myself (lots) that I do not need.

I have a good hiding place for gifts so I try to do it year round, or make a list on Amazon so I remember what to buy.

I'm only beginning to think about Christmas shopping. I actually started thinking about it a week ago. 

Yes, my daughter already came up with some ''orders'' for Santa that take for months to made and deliver, so some gifts are already arranged.

My wife does all of the shopping and usually starts Christmas week.

No, but we pretty well know what we will do especially since many want the same thing every year. However, this year will be special. I have all the photos and letters dating back to the 19th century for our family and I am having them all digitally saved for the family members.

Sybil Campbell for me, I keep an eye on 'deals' for the gifts I give to my clients throughout the year - so the shopping for Christmas is ALWAYS on!

OMG...no.... I'm just now thinking about Thanksgiving baking....have choreg dough (Armenian braided rolls) rising in the oven now....I'll freeze them for Thanksgiving....Paklava is the next pastry to be made and frozen.... maybe during the week, one afternoon.

I usually go week 1 of December, I prefer to do so when the malls are decorated and playing Christmas music. (I know they did that last week).

I try to start early every year. When I do, sometimes I forget where I squirreled away the gifts. Or, since I love giving, I can't wait until Christmas and just present them. So, for me it's safter to keep a list, or at least to have a mental list of what I want to get for different people. One year, I did 90% my shopping during a business trip to Europe in September. It was great!

Nope. My focus will be on Thanksgiving for about a month. Too many to thank and grateful for.
