Mandarin is a neighborhood located in the southside community of Jacksonville FL. The neighborhood consists mostly of older homes built in from the 1960s to the 1980s but does have some newer residential tracts that have popped up in recent years. These new residential tracts are compromised of modern homes on smaller lots which is in contrast to the larger lots many of the older homes sit on. Unlike many of the communities in Julington Creek Plantation just to the south, Mandarin doesn't have any community development Districts but does have some residential tracts with HOAs.
