No but, I do worry about the merge and how ST and CS are going to work together.

We can only hope they combine the best parts of each to make one heck of a scheduling service for us!

I've never had issues setting up showings. I go on-line to Showing Time and schedule. Easy peasy.

No.  Most homes out here are either vacant/go direct or call first then go.  Rarely we need 24-48 hours notice or to set a confirmed appointment.

In small rural markets with lower cost real estate listings, so so often it is list it, sell it and lots of empty chairs at the closing. No delay finding the listing agrent when that's you. Fewer layers of players and simpler listing, marketing, selling (repeat).

As a rule no.  As an exception yes we did yesterday.  In a local company where a mom and husband and child all work the husband passed away.  And we weren't about to call anyone in the family to try and schedule an appointment.  So we had to make several calls to other people in the firm to find one who do it for us, but again... very specific situation and while we wanted to get our buyer in and I'm sure the seller wanted the showing we all wanted to be respectful of their grief.

In the psyche of the mind, the evening represents the close of the day thus the opposite is true too where the start of the day beckons us. All is allowed but what works? We are seeking results if we are in our right minds

What kind of problems? I find that ST has made it pretty streamlined. Yes, sometimes agents will cancel last minute & reschedule 2, 3 times but it's just part of the job to be flexible & respond to a change.

Not really. 

Only 1 agent last month ignored our showing request.

With the cracking down on coming soon listings some agents go ahead and put a listing in the MLS but then either:

# 1 Say no showings until a future date, or

# 2 The make it hard (impossible) to show the listing for a week or so, unless you are on their tem or in their office.

No showing issues here.  We do not use a showing service. 

No problems here, Sentribox on most of the time, sometimes an hour notice is needed from the seller.

Rules imposed by association and broker that make pocket listing a punitive alternative may cause difficulty scheduling a showing for a new listing.  It is bold but necessary option to benefit the home owner who is the one paying EVERYONE.

There has been a recent need to cover the topic of showings a bit more with sellers...  They often want to suggest another time, another day due to minor things that easily could be worked around.  Buyers ask for certain days/times for a reason.  If the goal truly is to sell, the answer has to be "yes".
