It's interesting to see who they choose to celebrate. I don't see Lincoln, Washington, Wilberforce, Edison, George Washington Carver, Isaac Newton, or a myriad of other great names. It seems like they're more focused on celebrating diversity than they are celebrating those that have positively impacted the world and history.

Nope.  Gotten rather tired of google's doodles.  Used to be a rare and interesting occurence.  Now they're daily and sometimes politically motivated (or at least one side of the spectrum is ignored).
