I'm still working on the "consistent" part for when I blog. However, I do blog on another one of my websites as well.

Waiting for the answers from Debbie Gartner , Anita Clark, and Katerina Nestor & Katerina Gasset et al. They will explain how many sites, how often to post, and how to post.

Yes & it is getting harder & harder to do. Thinking up fresh content for one, let alone 2. Once a week on either is what I am currently doing but I feel there should be more.
Again I'd like to mention that we should pay more attention to getting the most 'eye balls' on our posts no matter where they are. Putting them on other media in a blitz method might not be the best way to do it. Think of continous visual information instead of all at once because you think it's easier.

No need to any longer. Trulia dumped their blog and with such great results here with my Active Rain blog, there is no need to blog any where else. I do post a link to my blog on various social media sites

I post blogs on my website and then put them on AR... so they show up in multiple places, but really I only blog once. And I do it daily.

AR but it links to my website and I re-blog or syndicate on social media: Twitter, FB and LinkedIn, some G+; weekly posts with daily log in...depends on inspiration how often I post or re-blog.

I may step on a few toes but here is my rant. IMHO...
The frequency is FAR LESS important than the quality of the information provided. Instead of writing 200 words a day, it makes more sense for long-term success (Google likes long-form content) to write one article a week at 1-2K words in length. If you can write long-form content more frequently, do so but never give up quality to satisfy quantity.
That may mean you need to stop chasing points here in the Rain and focus on the information you are providing to consumers. If you are chasing the free AR account (at 500K points), I can understand the need to get as many points as possible as quickly as you can. If you are above 500K points, the focus should be different if you want to generate a continual stream of new leads. I have seen posts/comments from Rainers with over 1M points who say they have never received biz from their blogging. Are you kidding me?! Change your approach!!!
I applaud Ben Kinney for stepping up and trying to make this platform stronger. However, why would any of us put all of our content on one blogging site that we do not control (remember the fate of blogs on Trulia, Squidoo, etc.)? If/when this site changes or goes away, there will be a whole lot of Rainers left with nothing...who wants to start over?!
We ALL need to have our own blogging platform that we control. If we are primarily blogging for biz, AR is a good secondary option because the site has authority and our content often gets good SERP results.
All the more reason to blog on our own sites first and link our AR content back to our original article (to strengthen the article on our sites so it rises in the SERPS). It also makes sense to periodically write articles on other secondary sites like realtytimes, huliq, realtown, etc. that link back to our main sites.
Backlinks from authority sites is one of Google's ranking factors. Take advantage of that fact by using high domain authority sites (like AR) to help build authority on our own sites.
The more places we can be found the better chance we have of getting new biz. If for no other reason, the increase in brand exposure is a positive thing. If consumers keep finding us (often multiple times on page 1 for the same search) our chances of getting a call from them go up.

Yes. I blog here, my site and Realty Times. I blog the same stuff on the same day and time (yes I know, not the best strategy according to some).
