Kris Neese, I have found that Google+ is very different than Facebook relating to consumers and the chit chat. However, I have found that the connections made on Google+ tend to be very high quality and the information that is shared and the seo on our posts are far superior than Facebook. With that said, I am not posting nearly enough to Google+ and need to make that a much higher priority.

I have a technical background and do much reading on the direction of technology and software products and those relating to our industry. Very recently I've been seeing more that Google is beginning to downplay Google+ and that it may not survive. I'm not surprised as in my markets few people are really using it. I have stopped using it and no longer post to it.

It isn't being embraced in my area. In fact at our Association office we were discussing it and most of the agents and affiliate members didn't have any idea what it was about.

Approximately 0% of my contacts use G+, but when I use Google to search for various industry related topics, it finds my link on G+ first. So Google must be appreciating the fact that I post my blogs to G+.

I have not found this to be the case. In fact I find it a bit challenging to determine how best to use Google+ in my overall strategy, versus the like of Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook and LinkedIn, which are much more targeted for me. Still, if I can find a way to make it work, I will :)

No. I have found that most everyone I know is in a business and is using everything they can to get visibility. There are definitely many in the internet world involved with it. Google tends to favor it's own properties for ranking purposes so I would not ignore it!!

I continue to post to G+ and it has helped me get my content onto the first page of a google search. But I have yet to see actual business from it. I have had calls and sales from contacts using Twitter and Facebook

I find that the tech savvy public does. Much of the general public is still entrencehd in Facebook.

No, I haven't found this. But, I have found that many of the social media and SEO experts use it and it is a wonderful place to learn about how to optimize your web and social media presence. And, it really does help my blog posts index faster and often gives me dual places on the SERPS.

I am hearing that Google Plus may disappear in a few years, not catching on like they had hoped.

I need to know more about it, and maybe AR could do a webinar on this. I thing it might be a great opportunity.

I make sure I post on Google+ if for no other reason to build my presence on that platform. I'm not sure people are reading there, but it's another connection to the Googleverse!

I don't think consumers are searching for agents on google+ at all but I will continue to use it half heartedly.

Currently, I am blocked out because it is not a trusted site. But I was getting some attention from using it...I don't see it as a true consumer destination point...Google is.... but not plus...People may say...Google is enough and want to try something else besides more Google

I find that very few of my contacts are on Google+ and that even fewer are using it regularly. The only contacts that seem to have embraced are my friends that are in IT.

No. However social media is similar to real estate in that it is localized. I would guess that Google+ activity around the bay area is slightly higher then in other places.
