Are real estate agents Rock Stars?

Of course not!  But you have to wonder some times with all the pictures and poses and billboards and magazine ads etc.  Who the heck do these folks think they are?  Does your agent's Maserati or Mercedes help you sell your home faster?  Is a guy with a three thousand dollar wrist watch more likely to show up on time?  Is the gal with the eight hundred dollar phone more likely to return your calls promptly?  What is the meaning of all these obvious status symbols anyway?  My answer:

NOTHING.  They don't mean a thing because this is not supposed to be about your agent.  It's supposed to be about YOU.

The difference between a real estate agent and a real estate consultant is the approach.  The traditional approach to real estate is based on the transaction. Everything centers on the transaction.  The consultative approach is centered on the relationship.  As your Real Estate Consultant, I will have a clear idea of your goals and objectives at all times.  Your transaction is important to both of us but, the most important thing is our relationship because that is what enables us to recognize and achieve the outcome that is best for you.  Imagine how much easier it will be to make your next move with someone you can know and trust!

Most of my clients are referred to me by friends, relatives and past clients or business partners.  Earning referrals is very importanrt to me because it means that I can spend more time working for you and less time searching for new business.  In fact, this is such an important cornerstone of my career that I have incorporated it into my mission statement which I would like to share with you here:

This kind of attitude may not get me a Maserati or a Mercedes but it certainly has helped me make some great friends and isn't that really more important in the long run?
