D' Amores Pizzeria in Malibu is always a great destination. Diane took the day off and wanted to take our neighbor's children to D'Amores for giving them a change of pace.... not going into details picture an "old lady"  and one boy who is about to go to Kindergarden this fall, then his sister who is about to enter sixth grade and the oldest sister who is about to become a Junior in High School.... with that said the common denominator was the Pizzaria and the Pacific Ocean. From the feedback it was a total HIT. Have you ever been to the Malibu Lagoon? This is a great gem of a park for observing various wildlife, local surfers, to paint or just relax. The Malibu Lagoon is where the Malibu creek meets the Pacific ocean, pretty cool! This park is also home to the famous Malibu Pier, Adamson House, Surfrider Beach and the Malibu Lagoon Museum, all within walking distance of each other. Be aware, the beach state park does charge a fee for parking. To avoid that fee, its recommended to park near the Malibu Public Library on "Civic Center Way." The image above illsutrates the street I'm referring to. From there, its a very short enjoyable walk to the Lagoon. Speechless Sunday: The Powere of Mother Nature   as most of you remember that last November there were some devastating fires not just in Malibu but in Augora and vicinity. Words can not describe what the devastation looked like. I chose not to write and post pictures about it, since it was hard for me to comprehend and I did not want to take advantage of writing about the misery of the local residents.  Now three months later I decided to drive along PCH( Pacific Coast Highway) to Kanan Dume Road.
