After hiking the Zuma Canyon Trails, I made a quick pit stop by the Malibu Piers on the PCH (Pacific Crest Highway). Finding parking near the pier around 1pm was challenging! But with patience and persistence, a space opened up. I didn't have much time to explore, but what I did come to understand, the pier is home to the Malibu Farm Restaurant & Bar (located at the beginning of the pier) and the Malibu Farm Pier Cafe (located at the end of the pier). The food aromas coming from both locations where pretty intriguing! Not to mention, both places provide ORGANIC food and drinks. If you wish not to eat, and simply walk the pier, its great for that as well. Zuma & Trancas Canyon in Malibu, CA is a great place to hike! The trails range from easy to moderate and the vistas are pretty great!  One of the main reasons I choose this hike was to explore a water creek! For most of the hike I didn't see any water (dry spell) but! I'm happy to report, I did come across small pools of water at the end of the Zuma Canyon Trail. Getting to the Zuma Canyon Trailhead: Take the Pacific Coast hwy to Bonsall Drive (near Zuma Beach). Previewing properties can bring back memories. I decided to check out some of the vacant lots that I was planning on showing to my clients this weekend. Land you say, WHY preview that? Well after the heavy rains of a couple years ago and then the droughts, I felt I needed to revisit some of these vacant lots in Malibu.I ended up driving about six miles up a scary road to this particular property. I was pleasantly surprised that there were construction people "fixing" the road and needless to say it was also "scary" at the same time. 18425 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu has generated a lot of interest, one buyer actually went into Escrow with us and things were moving along smoothly. I have continued receiving calls from people as they drove by my sign. Next thing I know for some reason the calls slowed... so just out of curiosity I went by and wow. Someone stole the sign. Keep in mind Pacific Coast Highway is busy with local traffic and to boot from Tourist Traffic as well. I was a bit disappointed since it took some effort to get rid of my sign... Never the less I am Happy to Report the buyer has removed all their contingencies. The Malibu Single Family  Market Report for  November 2016...Most people have been reading various and conflicting headlines how the Real Estate Market is. I was looking for information how the Malibu Single Family market has fared. The Malibu, CA 90265 Single Family Real Estate market is sending mixed signals. Let's look at the Median Days on Market statistics:  This is a massive change as you can see in the Median numbers. Now let's look at the Average Days on Market: These numbers would not be a clear indicator but inconjunction with the Inventory for one is very providing mixed messages: Customarily when inventory drops usually Days on  Market shortens as well, interestingly that is not the case here. In spite of this the Median Sales Prices has increased.
