Yours is the first complaint, of this type, that we've heard recently. We will keep an eye on this issue.

John,
I have not had that problem here. When I copy a post from our site, I remove all the formatting, then format here. A

It only happens to me while I am in the editor. My default font is set at 20. I select text and change the font to 14 when I publish some of the text font size changes.

sounds funky but no one else has mentioned the issue. I transferred many paragraphs today from different posts & it did it for me but I expected it from the older posts.
You can always clear the formatting.

That was happening for a long time in the past and it took several tries to get it right. Haven't experienced it lately...knock on wood John!

That used to happen to me all the time. I found if I posted first on my wordpress site, then copied the code, used firefox instead of safari to do my new post, and posted as code there, then saved immediately, then made any changes, it worked fine.
I haven't tried to do it the normal way in a long time.

It does not take long to get the attention of ActiveRain Member Support. Things are being fixed.

This is not a new issue. I've had this happening for years with the old editor. And even with the new editor it happens from time to time.

John, if you type the post on Word (or Pages), you will get this when you copy and paste it into your AR editor. The HTML code conflicts with the code on the back-end here.
Try Notes (on a Mac) or NotePad (on a PC) to write your posts. When you drop them here, you won't have any editing issues.

Haven't had that issue when writing in the editor but have when copying and pasting from Word. ARMS is on the watch and no doubt will share this issue with the developers.
