I only use Chrome Brian England and you are correct that it takes some experimentation to change a picture. It seems to me that I had to be sure the cursor was in front of or behind the picture and then you swipe over it as if you were cut and pasting words in a sentence, that should highlight it, then hit the backspace key to delete it. I also think at this point you need to save and close the post THEN reopen it and place a new picture in with a different name.

Chrome is not responding well, Brian. I need to switch to another browser to upload and edit pictures in the Rain. It's really a pain in the you know what.

No can do. Go into the HTML & just get rid of the photo & start over. It's been a bug for 2 years now or so?

I have chrome.... I save my photos in files in download.... click on the photo.... click on open... then photo gallery.... then edit, organize or share...you'll be editing.... then you'll see your photo highlighted....click on it... and edit it.... crop, straighten, shades of brightness, etc.... then close and it will save....
mine works well for me.... just follow the steps I gave you... Brian England

I just tried it on both platforms. Bob "RealMan" Timm is correct. On Chrome, you have to place the cursor next to the picture, then delete it. Then add the new picture back in.

I use Chrome and do find it slow and not particularly friendly to this user but I find it works eventually for what I need. Of course my current needs are pretty basic.

I use Chrome and do not have issues that I relate to the use of Chrome. I relate issues to the unstable platform. It looks like you have some workaround solutions here, Brian. I do not have anything to add. I do hope you get the issue resolved.
