Improving Conditions

Truthfully I'm not creating too much - I'm not doing any of the software developement or writing any programs - but tech keeps changing and the biz is getting easier and easier logistics wise. I still remember mechanical key lock boxes, "phone book" style books for access to available inventory, handwritten contracts in triplicate. And I remember when faxing was "new". And I "try" to be familiar with and at least semi conversant with whatever the current "tools" are.

I could and should do more than what I'm doing.

Richie Alan Naggar as I have just fully returned to the saddle of being a Mobile Notary Public I'm focused on doing all the basics correctly. I have expanded my service in the last month by extending my range from the City limits out to 60 miles. My next conquest will be to offer e-signings when I'm sure I know what I'm doing (but not before).

I'm always creating & messing things up BUT .... I never make them overly complicated.

They are making me update my website as they have a new format. I don't mind updating anything as long as my work is getting noticed by Google.

I would have to say that I am always trying new things ... the first on the block to give things a go. I do not chase the next shiny object though. Too old (& wise) for that.

Creating a "user friendly" environment is not only a business but a personal goal on some level. Definitely a work in progress.

I provide easy to use, no sign-up needed access to MLS. My website & social media is mobile friendly. I try to keep it short,  to the point & have a high level of clarity in my marketing. When it comes to capture, I am like a fisherman's ship- I cast a large net & I bring in everything from fish to crabs, there may be a dolphin caught in the net & always lots of minnows.

We are every day.  With one of our clients, we are on the 6th version of a document, and with another it is on the 101st revision (I know I am exaggerating), but we all want it perfect, before it goes to our spell check person, who comes back with 100 changes also...

Why, because in what we do, every pixel matters!  A

I am not. However, others who do not work under NARs limited vision and the constricts of a license ARE doing just that.

Then I get the opportunity to hire these surrogate outlaws to send me business.

What the consumer wants as user friendly, empowerment, anonymity, autonomy and no risk of shame is incompatible with what agents can provide. So, we are obligated to attempt dressing the old stuff in a new suit. So, yep, I updated the image on my business card. (not).
