Our brokerage has to be prominently displayed on our advertisements.  And KW is currently in negotiations over how prominantly since their focus is on the agents business and not on KW.

We have to include license, entity #s on contracts.

In Atlanta, GA the license number has to be in all documents.

I have it tattood on my eyelids so they see it every time I blink.

We don't need to in CT; only broker affiliation.

Florida does not require us to display our license number on purchase agreements, websites, signs, etc.

Yes, we do have some stringent requirements, and I have seen plenty of violations. And my guess is it will get stricter!

We are having to put it on the purchase agreement for the closing company. We have to declare on our websites the state of licensure and many of us do it through listing our TN license number.

      Florida:

       The number is on my real estate license, which hangs on my office wall (and a wallet size copy is in my back pocket).  The number does not have to be on advertisements, b-cards, social media, or signs.  

    You are required to state the name of your brokerage as it appears on your license, and the words "Licensed Real Estate Broker" in all advertisements, and next to any point of contact on a web page.

Name of agent and name of company so far!

It is not a requirement for me to display my licence registration number anywhere. 

The STATE of FLorida, on the licensing board website publishes the HOME address of the real estate agent, not the brokerage address.

Sometimes one needs to do what is smart.

There are none that I am aware of.  You do have to display the agency, not your license number

MA does not require that....but I have carried my license with me for 39 years.... and if I remember correctly, that was a rule....at least it was 39 years ago!!

Advertising - not a requirement - although we choose to.

As far as I know in NC and SC I just put it on legal/contractual documents--listing agreements, contracts, buyer agency agreements. I don't know that it's required anywhere else. But we do have to show broker affiliation.

Laws are different in different states and they do change requiring more and more disclosures 

Neither North or South Carolina require us to display ours in marketing, although many of us do anyway.

No requirement to display except in the brokers office - other than that - nothing anywhere

As a Mortgage Originator, I include my NMLS # and the housing log on all marketing outlets, if capable of doing so within the format.  We are monitored for this very closely.  Best to include it and be safe, no matter where or when, IMO ...

That was the MOST LAME CAR legal update webinar I have ever attended. I am still CONFUSED about the need to put a license number on a yard sign and/or open house sign.  I asked the question in the chat box and the response I got did not answer my question.  I posted again and no response. Those attorneys are so wet ... they are soaked. 

If they see your signs on the MLS photos you are fined $100 here.
