There are scams everywhere!!!  If anything seems too good to be true, it probably is.  Ask for their phone number so you can have your attorney call them.  That should weed them out.

Know the signs, grammar and mis-spellings is usually a good sign.

If it comes in the mail and promises to keep you in your house after your home is sold at auction.... it's a scam.

When one CHOOSES to engage in transactions that are beyond their experience, knowledge and resources, they will eventually pay the price.

Real estate scams, whether related to selling or acquiring or financing is like playing 'whack-a-mole' as soon as you see one, another pops up.

If one fears scam, it is best to hire some scam insurance who possess the experience, knowledge and resources..

If it sounds too good to be true it more than likely is a red flag.  Common sense is key at all times.  Don't be greedy as that can get in the way of reality and your key to right and wrong.
