Yes, I was an R.S.V.P. Captain in The Bay Area.
- Real Estate Volunteer Program.
We would descend on our local "aged & alone" community with hundreds of Realtors & tradesmen; it was a one day event annually and usually covered about 2 dozen homes selected through organizations like senior centers, "Meals on Wheels", etc.
The tradesmen would tackle repairs and we would do things like house cleaning, yard work, just sitting and chatting with the recipient, etc. Their home would be a bee-hive of DIY and cleaning.
They were typically either over 70 years of age and alone or handicapped and alone and would need help with basics. For some, changing a high ceiling light bulb was a blessing.

I have worked on several Habitat for Humanity projects. It's a really fulfilling labor of love.

Yes, but in reflection, maybe not enough!
Oh yes, many times. I hope to much more often next year too!
I like to give back when I can, and one thing I always have is time to give, which is one thing many not-for-profits need people for, especially during the typical work day.
I have not . I have donated to their cause.
I have served on a number of industry related boards and commities that funded scholarships.
the closest to volunteering for a real estate related event was to be appointed to the Franklin Housing Partnership to assist with affordable housing....
Habitat for Humanity and served on a Neighborhood Housing Board of Directors along with a few other projects.
Yes, on many levels.
From finding property for emergency shelters, to Habitat and serving on revitalization boards.
Not sure I totally duplicate the intent of the questions (or maybe the intent was to be totally wide open). I have not ever served on an re association board or committee. I have volunteered to non-paying service positions in the office to help other agents and carry out various office sponsered events. Also community service days with the office. And of course I have had a few client relationships that ended up being "volunteer" work.
Winston Heverly I volunteered for a local program that was sponsored by the Association. Our office and many others painted the interior of the house. Others did yard work, etc.
I have volunteered time at Habitat for Humanity a few times, and sure feels good!
Several years on the local Board of Directors, and a state committee, and worked on Food Drives, Blood Drives, and Fundraisers.
Yes ....I put a Chile cook-off team in a association event we sponsored in Bristol Rhythm and Roots function
It went great and was a lot of fun!
Keller Williams always has Red Day which is huge. Our Association of Realtors and MLS always have community give back programs through out the year. Very rewarding to partake. Mark
I have spent time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity.
Winston Heverly came so close at RED DAY of Keller Williams this year!
And other than that, thinking, what would that be, related to real estate requires volunteers....
yes if Habitat for Humanity house building counts.
Yes I was on a committee for our association.
Yes I participate in our board project that help with housing, company projects and Habitat for Humanity and even donate to the ReStore.
Yes, I have in the past. If I have the time, I will always help out.
I just finished a year as the president of my local board. I'm still serving the board as director. I'm also representing my region at the state level. I also volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.
Yes, I have volunteered to hold an open house for another agent. Also, I have volunteered for the Help-a-house program.
Grievance committees and Professional standards panels ten years worth. Great for learning, forgiving your fellow agents and also holding them accountable too. Highly recommended
Not enough but I do volunteer some as an affiliate with the WCR.
I've done a few things here and there for our association and a Habitat for Humanity project also.
We've helped seniors with minor repairs, participated in disaster relief, and worked on improvements at our local school.
I volunteer all the time but when possible I try to keep it out of my business.
Besides Habitat, we do disaster relief out of our local and state boards like when tornados hit the metro area.
Have been on the fund raising committee for Habitat for Humanity. I enjoyed it.
Only on local volunteer projects. I do not want to publicize like other realtors.....
I was on a board committee for a few years.
Yes; especially if it is a good cause.
Yes - but not recently
