Dreams Come True. They have for me and they can for you. As the Managing Broker of Your Castle Real Estate Steamboat, I am is helping clients find their "Dream Come True". Real Estate is powerful place for people to make their money grow for them. The allure of the Real Estate in Steamboat drew me in because of my love of the mountains. This love is something that I want to share with friends and clients. I love helping people find the property that make sense for their dreams, lifestyle goals and investment portfolio.
First Light Homes is my construction and remodeling company focused building Dreams come True. With construction experience ranging from development to entry-level duplexes' to multimillion-dollar homes. I've worn the hat of super. project manager, designer, draftsman, customer service and assistant janitor. Working with happy customers showed me the importance and impact of how Real Estate and well designed homes impact peoples lives.
Will's formal education was in marketing at Colorado State University up in Fort Collins. This opened the door for him to get a taste of marketing and sales on an international scale as he took a position with APEC in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This expo organizer took him around several nations of the south pacific. But the mountains call him home.
As a Native of Colorado Will Kennish has been a long time lover of this beautiful state and all that it offers. The wonders of this amazing place continue to delight and challenge him as he enjoys the outdoors through hiking, mountain biking a skiing.
Will is a genuine family man. Growing up in Castle Rock with all of his close family nearby he has realized the importance of keeping close to his family. He met his charming wife Tonya while enjoying a shared love of mountain biking. As sometimes happens, love led to marriage and a short time later a family was born. Being a father of two wonderful sons, Liam at 10 and Bryce at 8, he continues to learn what it means to be a good father and family man.

| We are working with Will to sell our home. Currently it is under contract after just 6 weeks of listing, so everything is moving as desired. Although new to Steamboat Springs, Will has learned the specifics of this market quickly. He has always been super responsive, is extremely knowledgeable about the sales process, and we rely on his input because it is honest, not self-serving as we have experienced with other realtors. Will has a background in the construction, and as a contractor, his familiarity with construction will serve both buyers and sellers very well. | Will listed my house and went over the top in helping me get it ready for market. He gave me a list of work that needed doing. He brought in some of his guys to get the work done and then he even helped me with staging. He even fixed the kitchen sink! I was very impressed with his marketing plan and how he went above and beyond my expectations. Mostly, I appreciated his honesty and trustworthiness when it came to looking out for my best interests. It was my first time doing any of this. Will’s assistance and advice was invaluable every step of the process. I can’t imagine anyone better than Will at this based on how he assisted me with every detail. | As the owner of a small sales agency in our five state region, we needed a very specific workspace that would accommodate our needs (there were several specific requirements for the property). When I began working with Will to find a commercial property for our showroom, office, crash pad and warehouse space we were uncertain of the right area of town to setup shop and found it very difficult to hone in on such a limited availability and such a specific property. Wills patience and direction in showing us around and working through the benefits of different areas was a key to locating just the right property; he negotiated a good deal which included owner carry financing (a huge benefit that we did not expect). Will is also a very experienced contractor - so this was cool in that after the purchase he worked with our team to custom build out the space to our exact needs. I must say that it was extremely helpful to be looking at properties with an agent that fully understood our needs and could provide "off the hip" estimates to build out the spaces that we looked at. His advice and skills were key in our being able to take advantage of market conditions and get moved in quickly. We still keep in touch with Will for our property re-model and modifications as well as some maintenance questions we've had over the past few years. Our space is a large part of our business' success and the space was found, negotiated and bought from Will... as well Will custom built the 2,500 sq. ft. space to our exact needs - Will was a great resource and we owe a lot of our recent success to him. --Ryan Overstake |
