When you visit Walter's home, you'll see why his lifestyle is perfectly suited for the sun blessed "Desert Area". From the moment you reach his doorstep, the sunshine begins as you knock on the door with a beautiful brass door knocker sculpted in the shape of a smiling sun. Once Walter greets you, you'll notice he radiates with a warmth and combined energy that is not only vitalizing but is also reflected in his décor. Everywhere you look, you'll find suns - brass, silver, gold, glass, wood, ceramic, reflective, translucent - adorning walls, accenting furniture and dangaling in front of windows. Its only fitting that Walter should collect articles which depict one of the Earth's major sources of power because he is such a flowing source of natural energy himself. There is more to Walter, however then his sunny disposition and his wide array of collectables. He also has a love of food. When Walter serves up a delectable meal you can expect the results to be both delicious and surprising. Walter's friend Muriel says  "he never follows a recipe, spontaneity and creativity play a major role in his dishes". Since Walter learned to cook from not only his Italian side of the family but also his mother, who studied cooking at the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Institute in France.
