I moved to Florence Oregon on the central Oregon coast in mid 1999. After a 25 year career of auto collision repair business on the west side of the Portland metro area, I needed a change to a slower life and a chance to move the kids to a place with NO gangs. Florence Oregon is 80% retirees in a town of 8,000. I'm a minority as I still had kids at home that are turning out to be wonderful people. The summer of 2013 saw 2 of them graduate college and one with honors! In July of 2003 I became a licensed Realtor here. I went on to earn my ABR and Completed my GRI designation in mid 2006. I am past president of the Central Oregon Coast Board of Realtors. I am the 2010 Realtor of the Year for the Central Oregon Coast Board of Realtors. For 2011,12 and 13 I was on the board of directors for the Oregon association of Realors® I am soon to be the past 2014 President of our local board for the second and last time I just recieved 2014 Realtor of the Year. I also am Past president of the Florence Food Share, our local food pantry for people who need extra help. In my spare time I restore old gas pumps of the 1940's for display. I also can found cruising in my 60' corvette.
