Hello and thank you for visiting, my name is Frank J. Wasung and I am thrilled to have interest from any fellow real estate professionals, web browsers, and past and future clients. We feel liberated and are now able to service our clients with more localized marketing and services.
As a Broker, I hold the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) certificate, work as an Associate Broker at Advantage Realty, along with Maintaining my own personal brokerage, FJW Real Estate, as well.
I enjoy working for both buyers and sellers, and give them both fierce representation.
Born and raised in Macomb County Michigan, I have been blessed with a good clientele from my inner circle of contacts. It is these people, along with all clients, that keep me working with a steady stream of referrals. All areas of Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, Lapeer and north Wayne counties are serviced. Macomb is in the center of my realm, so New Baltimore, Chesterfield, Macomb Twp, Shelby, Sterling Heights, Clinton Twp, Washington, Romeo, and all neighboring Townships are where I do the majority of business.
Many home buyers I encounter often have a minimal understanding of how buyer agency benefits them. So working to achieve an understanding of this, and seeing their excitement when they realize that "hey, this is going to take so much stress out of this whole process" is when I really enjoy this business. One of the brokers at our firm, whom I have always respected, told me something that has stuck with me my entire career. It applies to both buyers and sellers. When he wakes up in the morning and looks in the mirror, he thinks to himself, someone out there needs my help today and it is my job to find out who that is. That thought rings in my head every day because helping people is what we really do, at least when we are doing it right. The success comes from that.
Residential sales are my specialty. Private sales, short sales, bank sales, you name it and I do it. High end homes and low end homes are all staggered into the immediate areas and you have to know how to handle them all. Our success comes from a deep commitment of understanding the market around us, and how to sell houses with-in that environment. It is a full time gig. Living my whole life here has been such an incredible advantage as well. With friends and family all over southeast Michigan, there are few areas strange to me.
Its funny to me how many people are in this business that will go into a client's kitchen and tell them they can get more for their home than what is obviously possible. Shoddy market analysis, false promises, and fast talking can misguide both buyers and sellers as to the values of a home.
My specialty is to call it as I see it and tell the truth. I do this by presenting real time data, on a laptop, with a live internet connection, so there is no question as to the accuracy and lack of editing. My clients have enjoyed and appreciated this. Even when I am presenting to strangers who are unfamiliar with me, they tell me that the information is the best they have seen. I really believe that many questionable agents will say anything to get the listing contract signed and stick thier sign in the yard. They are hoping to beat you down on price later, or at least get some buyer inquiries so they can sell them something else priced correctly, blaming the seller that was misinformed in the first place about the high price.
Being honest, giving accurate data in real time, analyzing the market and sharing this information with my clients. . . this is what I specialize in.
