I inherited my love of the real estate profession genetically...both of my parents were actively involved in real estate. My father, William J. Champion, Jr., founded a very successful real estate company of the same name in 1952. His death in 1961 made it necessary for my mother, Catherine W. Champion, to step up to the challenge of managing this growing office. She soon gained respect as one of Grosse Pointe's first female entrepreneurs. I followed my mother into the real estate business in 1976 after completing my education at Grosse Pointe High School and earning a BA and Master's degree in Marketing at Michigan State University.
I specialize in residential resale in the Grosse Pointes and St. Clair Shores. I understand the needs of first time home buyers and provide them with the tools to make informed purchasing decisions. I also give superior service to sellers. Using technology to expand the marketing opportunities for sellers, I offer over thirty years of outstanding real estate service. I have also been extremely active on the local, state and national levels of the Realtor associations. I was both the first and twelfth president of the Grosse Pointe Board of Realtors, serving as one of the six founding members of the Grosse Pointe Board.
Real estate education includes the ABR, CRB, CRS, E-Pro and GRI designations.
