Ocala & Marion County Market Report August 2013 Homes 40% higher last month than during previous July July was an active month for Marion County’s single-family home market. Realtors reported 518 sales of existing homes - 40 percent more than recorded during the same month last year.The median sales price was $107,500, which was 15.7 percent more than the July 2012 mark.Of those 518 sales, 246 were cash sales. That’s 31 percent more than last July.
