I don't think so, Kevin. I've never purchased a ticket in my life. No time to run out to do so when the odds of winning are infinitesimal. 

I find it amazing with all those ticket sales there is no winner! Shows how bad the odds are but its still a thrill. Yes I will buy 1.

I typically don't play powerball even when it gets high.  My husband surprised me by wanting to get a couple last night.  He laughs at me when I occasionally buy a megamillions (only a buck a shot, not the horribly expensive two bucks)

We occasionally buy such tickets just because it's fun to have a chance - no matter the odds.  We donate alot and winning the lotto and donating on a bigger scale (like donating buildings and huge amounts of money for projects) would be absolutely the greatest.

We have a group of agent, within our office, who throw in $2 each, and share a pool of tickets.  Clearly we didn't win last night.  Will we throw another $2 bucks??

I went to a Vietnamese shop to buy a pair slippers. The guy came did quick picks got 1/2 of $110M  at same store.

I was all set to , but then lady luck smiled my way. It turns out that I'm the only heir to a 21 Million cash estate located in Uganda according to Barrister Nyrobi . He found me thru a Google search and as soon as the $5,000 processing fee I sent him clears I'll start receiving Regular installments from my long lost families fortune ! I'd rather go with a Sure Thing !

A lot of people I would rather give that two dollars to than a government gambling establishment.
