There is a suggestion in your question that the dark side and real estate professional have some symbiotic relationship.
As an investor in stocks, if one were interested in securing a spot in the ADVERTISING area, Google, Facebook and the darkside could prove appealing.
I would suggest those of integrity to invest in enterprises whose existence is not based on the deception of masquerading as something real estate related when the reality is they exist for a reason entirely separate. But we know what is said about 'birds of a feather..."
As a REALTOR one should make real estate related investments such as REITS.
