No. The DFW area is so large and we have agents in all section that it would not make good business sense to tour as a group.

A few brokerages in our area still do that....more often it is a brokers open rather than a weekly route...

No, there are two associations that sponsor broker tours. We try to synchronize
our listings at that time. There are one or two brokerages have real bus for that and accept offer after the tour. This is in San Mateo County, CA on very high end estates. The overseas investors have higher tolerance for risk and they help to drive up the local home sale prices.

Debbie - Our company never has had that. Here in my area, the title companies or lenders (sometimes both) typically sponsor the local caravans or tours. It is usually every couple of weeks, and on different days of the week depending on the area covered.

our MLS does with multiple companies. We work well together and agents from competing brokerages sometimes even ride together.

My market sitll does a tour. We have one for each of our different areas. We are a rural market and the county covers a broad range, but there are tours for each area when there are enough listings to showcase each week. If there aren't we move the tour to the next week.

No, we advertise at monthly board meetings and a brokers' caravan follows the meeting.

we have so few new listings in this town that our town caravan is now once a month instead of weekly....

My company has never had them in all the years I've been with them (since 2004). I have found that other offices who did hold these have pretty much stopped years ago.

No.. seems they just pout to do so. I find they will go tour on their own if you ask though... that helps them be on their own schedule. Caravans can take a few hours and tend to be a timing issue for someone, always !

Yes. We have a weekly office meeting and then a company broker caravan which is treated by many as another open house opportunity. We also have various association tours throughout the week.

I remember that practice when I first started out some 16 years ago. I sometimes see a Brokers Open on Tuesday, but rarely.

We can post up to 25 photos on our MLS listings. Viewing photos seems to suffice and has taken the place of previewing homes. IMO nothing beats an in person tour of a home. Used to be we saw the properties first before we showed buyer clients.

Yes! We have caravan every Friday at 9 AM. We have our own mini bus! We can talk about the properties and save on gas.

No caravans. However, the office does have a monthly schedule of weekly broker opens and encourages them to be scheduled by designated geographic areas.

Our former office got away with that 10 years ago. Our current office never did it.

Yes our MLS does a tour every week on three days, Wednesday Thursday and Friday. The city is broken up and I tore properties every single week. It keeps me abreast of The inventory and you never know if the next buyer you meet is looking for A property you might have just seen
