Why would anyone want to read what the founder of Zillow, an ADVERTISING company, has to say about real estate?
Do you not have access to hundreds or REAL ESTATE experts who make their contribution to socieity by educating and guiding countless citizens and professionals into great real estate decisions without reliance on deception and theft of IP?
Would you not be better served in exploring the investor side of real estate or the non-real estate side of marketing or any venue offering advanced technologies in personal communications or even game play theory?

I agree in part to Annette's comment saying why would I care what an advertising company has to say, but I am not the one who will believe it. My potential clients will be and I need to know what they know so I can offer a professional opinion.

Wow, I guess some folks don't like Zillow very much. I was of similar opinion so that is why I wanted to read their book. See what they had to say. My take is they think that the data should drive the real estate buying selling decision making process. Nice thought if we were all computers. I do not think it is possible to take the emotional side out of the purchase or sale of a home. They make a good case but I do not think that an algorithm is the end all to home valuation no matter how refined it is. I would recommend the book to read both for agents and clients. I think you need to be informed, also as Sun Tzu said "know thy enemy".
