Snow, Ice Report for Lovettsville, VA, December 9, 2013.  The snow started yesterday afternoon about 3:00 p.m.  It was coming down quite hard, but faded as the day went on. I've been in the "get ready for winter mode" for about a month.  I've got a good load of firewood (yes, I cleaned out the firebox of old ashes), Friday, I accumulated plenty of food and treats in case someone dropped by.  I leave my garage door open in ice/snow storms in case the electricity  goes out.  Thankfully it didn't. What can happen when the home owner is present during the home inspection?? a.  Depends on whether or not the seller is represented by a listing agent.b.  The inspector usually has no knowledge of the "home inspection contingency", if there is one.
