When you've been selling homes for awhile in the same area, you can recognize a great deal. This client needed her home to close before the end of the year. At the time, that was less than a month away. Our team went to work and got it listed by the end of the day w/multiple offers coming in within 24 hours. Our client allowed us to price it so that it would sell quickly, but she would still get top dollar. We are happy for her that it closed yesterday! That makes for a very Happy New Year for everyone involved!

As we get closer to one of my favorite holidays, there are all kinds of tips and tricks and hints out there to help guide us through the day. There are phone apps for recipes, Pinterest for menu/decorating ideas, Google Home / Amazon Alexa/Echo to not only help with recipe research, but to actually manage the timers for us during the cooking process. If only Alexa could do the dishes!I found this helpful chart that I keep on my refrigerator so I can properly plan days before the event. I have clients every week, buyers AND sellers, who ask me who they can call to remodel and update their home. I find it challenging to recommend contractors these days because, while they may have done a good job for me, I would hate for one of my valuable clients to hire them, and not be happy with their work. Therefore, I always give them at least 3 names and then this "Guide to Hiring a Contractor."  I did my own due diligence when I upgraded my home and I would always recommend my clients do theirs. My job as a REALTOR is to advise my clients, and that's how I handle referring vendors as well.
