The sale of the property and its 36.9 acres at a price of $4 million is subject to a 90-day due diligence period, currently being undertaken by CCF representatives. The due diligence period will allow the CCF one last chance to investigate the property before they finalize the deal and move ahead with their plans for the property. The blogosphere is abuzz over a newly publicized bug in Windows 7. I read about it yesterday on Chris123NT's blog, where it was described as a "critical bug in Windows 7 RTM." The story picked up momentum today when InfoWorld's Randall Kennedy (the man behind the "Save XP" Astroturf campaign) published a sensational polemic: "Critical Windows 7 bug risks derailing product launch." Tom Warren at Neowin called it "rather nasty" but sensibly concluded that it's far from a "show stopper." My conclusion? It's alarming behavior if you're unaware of what's happening. Boeing moving to the Charleston SC Area will help Spur and Speed up the Recovery of the local Real Estate Market Boeing bringing jobs to the area will help stabilize the economy and help spur and speed up the recovery of the local real estate market (i.e. Charleston, North Charleston, Goose Creek, Mount Pleasant, Summerville, and etc.).  This good news for homeowners looking to sell in the next couple of years, because this will give the market some time to reduce the number of homes on the market and allow home prices to go back up.  But if you are home buyer, right now is the best time to buy.  The supply of homes is exceeding the demand, low home prices and low interest rates, which means you have a tremendous buying power (i.e. Buy Your Dream Home). Boeing lands here Aviation giant ...

Alright all you GREAT Realtors...I have a few questions for you: When going to get a listing - Do you sell yourself, to the potential client, with all the things you will do during the listing period? All the magazine advertising you will provide? All the newspaper advertising you will provide? All the internet sites you will be posted on? All the Open Houses you will host? All the mailings you will send? All the emailing, tweeting, facebooking, blogging, whatever, ...., that you will do? Okay, great job, you get the listing and.... Do you then, weekly, prove all the things you are doing?  I think one of the easiest mistakes an agent can make is providing fantastic service for a client and not telling or proving to that client that you are doing it.  I've done it myself...after enterin...

You have to give it to everyone who works for Disney, they really know how to roll out the "red carpet." Today was a day filled with wonder, magic, snow and smiles, just to name a few. The Disney Train, A Christmas Carol, rolled into Charleston on Friday and left late this evening, but before it did we had the chance to jump on board to learn how the movie was made.      We were first greeted by the train conductor, who validated our boarding passes and directed us to board the train.  Upon boarding the train we were greeted by the staff and walked through the first two cars.  The walls were covered with digital TVs with images from the movie and a few clay sculptures of the film's main characters.  Just above are the clay models of Scrooge and Bob Cratchett (they looked so real). The l...
