  The Crater girls basketball program showed they are a tough group of players.  In the semi-final game they were up three points to the number one program in the state, Jefferson had the ball and a Crater girl fouled on a 3 point attemp, the Jefferson girl had to step up and make all 3 shots to go to overtime and she did just that.  The game went to OT and Crater lost a heartbreaker.  Rather than folding up shot they played conference opponent Ashland whom they lost to 4 times in the regular season.  It would of been so easy for Crater girls to not show up but they showed up alright and beat Ashland for the 3rd place trophy. The Rogue Creamery - Central Point Oregon.  The Rogue Creamery in Central Point Oregon is an artisan cheese company, with people dedicated to sustainability and the art and tradition of making the world's finest handmade cheese. This mom and pop cheese factory opened in Southern Oregon during the Great Depression of the 1930's.  It's original owners, Tom & Zolita Vella, came to Southern Oregon from Sonoma.
