In about 180 hours the roads will be full of anticipation of the Minnesota Walleye.  The traffic will be bumper to bumper heading for cabins and lakes.  Lot of work to be done before sishing starts.  But...are you ready for a safe trip?  Already today I had a gentleman stop into my office and he was haveing trouble.  I went out to see if I could help. A bearing had went out on the boat trailer.  He had been driving about 25 min and  he noticed smoke.  I told him that it was unusual for a bearing to overheat after just being grease after being taken out of storage. I was going through my mail this morning at the office....Junk mail, junk, junk, bill, junk, bill. more junk and more bills. I took the bills and set them aside, I will deal with them monday.  I like to get rid of the junk mail ASAP, to keep the clutter down.  Most of it I throw in thet ol' round file unopened.  One cought my eye. It was from a local business that puts out a monthy news letter.   I always check for deals in case I need to refer a client to them.  Inside was a $15 gift cert. to the local movie theater.  What a great surprise.  They have a trivia contest (not very hard) and I took the time to answer it. How is the housing market in North Branch shaping up this year?  Not as good as last year unfortunately.At this time last year 83 home had SOLD in North Branch with an average sale price of $216,151.This year so far 62 homes are under contract or have SOLD in North Branch for an average sale price of $209,432Unfortunately based on these numbers the average sales price dropped 3%And market times have increased by 22% from 78.2 days in 2006 to 99.9 days in 2007.Does this mean I can't sell my home?Not at all!  However, today more than ever you need to choose the right Realtor to help you sale your home.  Another interesting statistic was that the vast majority of the homes that have SOLD are selling with experienced agents, from larger companies.  I can compare our numbers last year to the... 05/16/2007
