With everyone pushing Social Media- Facebook, Twitter, Blogging... it makes me wonder where YouTube comes into play, or any video/virtual tour for that matter.  Because it seems the younger generation is so mobile and so visual, I think videos are really where it's at for the future of getting conversion, starting with an online view->to an email->to an appointment->to a showing->to a contract...and maybe even a purchase agreement.  Here's a link to a video that's been created for one of my current listings. Lowell is small city on the Flat River just east of Ada & Grand Rapids. In fact, it takes us about fifteen minutes to drive there, which we do quite often. Lowell ShowBoat Sizzlin’ Summer  Concert Series 2010. Every Thursday night this summer, there is a FREE CONCERT from 7 to 9pm at the Riverwalk in Lowell on the Showboat stage.  The concerts are wheelchair accessible, free parking, there is bleacher seating or bring your own chair. The Flat River Grill is offering food and a cash bar, as well as other vendors along the Riverwalk plaza. NOTE: Construction on the Flat River Bridge in the center of Lowell will complicate parking and traffic as it only goes one way – east – at this point. I caught this incredible upper viral infection.  I went to the doctor later than I should have.  I was flat for a few days...looking like a zombie and feeling like I was in an altered state! I am on the last day of my antibiotic regiment and just starting to feel like the living again.  I have coughed for 4 days and my brain I am sure is damaged from the intensity of the coughing.  Judging, Classes, Entertainment, Contests, Carnival = Family Fun The Kent County Youth Fair is celebrating its 75th year at the Lowell Fairgrounds.  I have fond memories of the County Fair from my youth and 4-H days.  It is a lot more than cotton candy and carnival rides. I really enjoy seeing all the animals and the exhibits that the kids work so hard on all year.  Many times you will see sheep, pigs, horses, chickens on display that are pampered  and well cared for.  It is a chance to see what is popular on the farm and what might be showing up next at the Farmer's Market or on your table.      Just the variety of animals can be overwhelming.
