In Cohasset, Massachusetts, January home sales were up compared to the previous January, and while sales prices were below average, the other statistics reflect a very healthy marketplace that stands to benefit both buyers and sellers. There is still a backlog of properties that are under agreement or have contingent deals. Total inventory is quite low, by historical standards.  11 single-family homes sold in January up from 6 in December and 6 last January a list with details about each property appears below 116 homes sold in Cohasset in 2013 compared to 113 in 2012 if you'd like a list of all the 2013 sales, please write me here A list of the homes available in Cohasset right now can be found at Cohasset homes for sale The AVERAGE SALES price was $777,000 down from $854,000 last mont...

Summer in Cohasset, Massachusetts Cohasset is a residential town, with some great things to do. Cohasset has a walkable downtown, with shops and restaurants in the Village. Main Street and Elm Street are lined with historic homes. At the east end lies the beautiful protected harbor with its lobster boats and historic Minot's Lighthouse. Along the coast, magnificent homes and ocean vistas from Atlantic Avenue and Jerusalem Road comprise the “Gold Coast”, one of the loveliest waterfront home areas in the country. Like much of the east coast of Massachusetts, the area is packed with early American history, and Cohasset has many museums and antique buildings. The Cohasset Historical Society hosts events during the summer. It is located on South Main Street. The Cohasset Library is in the be...

A Cohasset MA home buyer should receive a brochure, Home Inspectors Facts for Consumers Sheet, at the time of the signing of the first written contract to purchase from the Seller or Seller's agent.Since MA Home Inspector licensing in 2001, a consumer must have a signed exclusive buyer's agent agreement with a Real Estate Broker or Salesperson before the Real Estate Broker or Salesperson can refer a home inspector.Without a signed exclusive buyer's agent agreement, the Real Estate Broker or Salesperson may only refer the buyer to the list of all MA Home Inspectors from the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Home Inspectors.Finding your Cohasset MA Home Inspector from the list of all MA home inspectors can be quite a challenge. An internet search for "Cohasset MA Home Inspector" may ...
