Fashion Island Christmas Tree Lighting 2014   This year, Fashion Island's annual tree lighting ceremony will take place on November 14 and 15, 2014 at 6:00 pm. Selling Your Newport Beach Home | Preparing Your  Newport Beach Home for Sale The following are recommendations I make to my clients when listing their homes for sale.  Be sure to store and lock away all valuables including jewelry, money and/or prescription medication or personal items. Put away lap top computers, iPads, iPhones, smart phones and any tablets or portable electronics. Lock up any prescription or non prescription medication. Put jewelry and valuables in locked cabinets, or take them out of the property. If your client has firearms, I recommend putting them away also in a locked secured cabinet. One of the things I love about living in Newport Beach is the beach. I love to walk to the beach, and this time of year it is so nice to be able to enjoy the beach without the crowds of people that come to visit during the summer months. You know it is fall because you can easily find a parking spot on the street, and of course the very few people that are on the beach at all. I took a walk on the beach this morning, and really enjoyed it. There were a few surfers in the water, and just a few people walking on the beach. I walked my dog Duffy and he really wanted to go in the water. It is quite peaceful this time of year.  Happy Wednesday! 11/12/2014

The fabulous event will have Disney characters Mickey and some of his friends to celebrate the annual tree lighting ceremony. Be sure to join your friends and family for Fashion Island's Annual Holiday Tree Lighting.  I was at Fashion Island yesterday, and the tree is almost decorated . . . and it will not disappoint, and will be a beautiful tree lighting ceremony for sure. We are experiencing Santa Ana conditions here in Orange County, and basically what it means is there is an off shore flow or wind. The prevailing winds generally come from the ocean which keeps the area very cool. Yesterday and for the next few days we are experiencing Santa Ana conditions, so that means it will be windy, the temperatures will increase and there is increase fire danger.  This is a photo of the Newport Shores neighborhood in Newport Beach - there is currently no wind, but it is fairly warm right now, even at 7:15 am. Did you vote today? Voting is a privledge and a right and I everyone got out and voted. I did research through the candidates as well as the measures in our local area, and yes I did vote. The polling location was located in my neighborhood in Newport Shores in Newport Beach, so I just walked there this morning with my daughter. We took the time to research the individual candidates and the measures. I was concerned about certain ones that might increase taxes and traffic.
