Beethoven turns 250 and the South Valley symphony will be holding a belated commemoration on December 11th by holding a performance in Morgan Hill at the Advent Lutheran Church. "A Holiday Happy Birthday to Beethoven" will be presided over by Maestro Anthony Quartuccio. Opening the evening's performance will be Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, "Emperor", which was written in 1809 and is a giant of the classical repertoire. It will be performed by guest soloist Kristal B. Kim who will be on the Piano. The symphony had planned for this last year, for the 250th anniversary of the birth of Beethoven in 1770, but was postponed/delayed last year due to the pandemic.
