Crab Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms thanks to the Marina Del Rey Farmer's Market! First I must mention that since the world has become so close and anyone can get food that is “in Season” somewhere in the world. There is one Vegetable that still is very seasonal. That is the Zucchini Blossom. Unless you grow your own vegetables Zucchini Flowers will only be found at your Local Farmers Market. I have cooked Zucchini Flowers in many different ways, this time I chose to do a Crab stuffed Zucchini Flower Dish. In case you are wondering I do not grow my own vegetables I go to the local Farmer’s Market. Marina Del Rey’s Farmer’s Market @ Mother’s Beach Thursday s 9am-2pm I am thrilled that Marina Del Rey has its own Farmers’ Market on Thursdays. This was the second Thursday that they held the Farmer’s Market. It was created in conjunction with what we call Beach Eats on Thursdays, this is when Gourmet Food Trucks arrive and from 5pm – 9pm there are all the Food Trucks you can imagine or want. (I have written about Food Trucks before). Needless to say I could hardly wait to go, fortunately Real Estate has been keeping me busy (unfortunately for me & the local Farmers) I had to miss the Grand Opening. Marina Del Rey, CA : Breaking News another minor Earthquake at 8:14 pm tonight! Ok I was on the computer responding to a Counter Offer on one of my transactions which I am negotiating. No I was not cookingJ but this one was a “snap” I immediately went to the US Geological Website to see what magnitude this earthquake was. According to the site it was only a 2.8 magnitude. Marina Del Rey: Breaking News Earthquake Rocks Marina Del Rey, CA   I was prepping Dinner and Diane was feeding the cats another normal Friday evening at home. Then at 7:52 pm the ground shook, Diane was on the floor feeding the cats and said”… did you feel that?...” As I was chopping onions for my Seafood Risotto I indicated “yes”. New Couch ,  no New Sofa Bed: whose is it? It’s my CouchJ! No their Sofa Bed! The other day Diane decided to get rid of the old Couch and get a new one. Not only is it a Sofa it is a Bed too. Keep in mind; she wanted the best, since we are expecting visits from friends and her father during the year. She did not want to put them in a Guest Suite near, where we live; rather she preferred her father and our friends to stay with us. So after a detailed internet research and personal visits to two different Bed Stores we decided on a Queen Sized Sofa bed. Not too large, hence it does not dwarf the living area.
