Sometimes it's just a crush, not true love! Despite the fact that buyers were able to go much higher, an agent submitted a low ball offer on their behalf for a property they seemed to really want. After testing the sellers, they soon discovered their offer was among 8 other contracts received the same day for consideration. Homes in that price range were in high demand. She asked if sending a message to the listing agent, asking for another opportunity to respond with more money, would help. Afterwards, the agent admitted her clients could have offered full price and paid their own closing costs.  Agents must educate buyers fully about the current marketplace, even subtle nuances. Thinking there are still screaming deals out there or they can haggle on price is unrealistic.
