On September 17, 2024, California Association of Realtors (C.A.R) reported the homes values lower 1.0% to the price of $1,010,000 in August of 2024 from price of $1,020,000 in July of 2024, but higher 1.0% from price of $1,000,000 in August of 2023 in Riverside County, California.Homes sales decreased 4.7% in August of 2024 from July of 2024 but gained 3.2% from August of 2023 in Riverside County, California.There were 3.5 months supplies of available inventory of homes in August of 2024, grew from 3.1 months in July of 2024, and rose from 2.5 months in August of 2023 in Riverside County, California.An average it took 29.0 days to sell a home in August 2024, up from 28.0 days in July of 2024, and increased from 23.0 days in August of 2023 in Riverside County, California.For complete mor... 09/25/2024

Lately, I've heard some buyers comment about waiting to buy a home until after the election.  This got me to thinking, what is behind buyer's decisions to buy a home?  Can an election affect the housing market?  It seems to have put buyers on hold.  If that happens, how does THAT affect the housing market?  Many questions - let's come up with some answers.  Some buyers may be thinking that waiting until after the election is a wise move.  But wait, aren't others thinking this way?  What if those buyers are all waiting, sitting on the fence until after the election?   Doesn't that create an even longer list of buyers waiting to buy?  In my humble opinion, yes.  But let's see what others are saying?   Reading research by John Burns Research and Consulting seemed like a wise homework assig... 09/25/2024
