One of my favorite places to go and soak in the serenity and beauty is the Bridal Veil Falls in the Provo Canyon in Provo, Utah. I also love that Bridal Veil Falls is only a few minutes’ drive from my home in Indian Hills, Provo, Utah! Waterfalls are an amazing sight to see and experience. It is a super popular place to go for locals and tourists. People come from all over the world to see Bridal Veil Falls. The springtime is gorgeous with the trees blossoming, the summer with the vibrant variety hues of green, to the fall with these amazing reds, browns, and oranges, and then the winter when the falls ice over and become a part of the gorgeous landscape draped in white. The trail up and around Bridal Veil Falls can take you up the mountain and around. There is also a dirt trail, which ...

Last night, my wonderful broker Cherie Thompson Conrad and I attended the 2024 GCAAR Recognition Awards Ceremony at the Marriott on Pooks Hill in Bethesda, MD. We enjoyed sushi and wine, and met new and old REALTOR® friends, all among the best in the local Real Estate community. GCAAR (Greater Capitol Area Association of REALTORS®) is the local REALTOR® association we are members of (since 2004 for me!). I am very proud (but my broker may possibly be prouder :) to have earned a sales achievement award for 2023! I work (hard) for Thank Yous, smiles at the closing table, and to earn repeat business and referrals, but not necessarily for official recognition. That has never been a driving force, but it sure feels really good!Andrea Bedard, Award Winning REALTOR® does have a nice ring to it...

Remember this?  Library in Spring Park, Searcy AR.This card does not have a date on it but the place to put a stamp asks for a one cent stamp.  So how long ago was that?  Some of the old one cent stamps have become collectible.  When I became a Searcy resident, my children and I went to this library.  It was a small house near the entrance to Spring Park,  It was a charming little place and my kids loved going there.  I don't remember what the buildings in the background were.  Searcy Sleuths?  Do you remember? Here's another blog about the library and includes the ladies who might have helped with it.
