For the same period 27 homes were sold.

Saint Albans WV Real Estate Market Report for September 2012 September 2012 Real Estate Activity Homes Sold:  21 Average Sales Price:  $115,309 Homes On The Market: 169 Homes Currently Under Contract: 38 Average Days On The Market: 54 Comparing September 2011 to September 2012, the Saint Albans market is near identical with a slight decrease of $741 in average sales price. The big difference is the days on the market have decreased from 80 days last September to only 54 in 2012.  Saint Albans WV home sales show Buyers Market in December 2011. 14 homes completed escrow in December 2011. Of the homes sold, the median list price was $88,200 with a median selling price of $85,000 and only remained on the market for 56 days. The buyer's market was determined by using the absorption rate formula. With 122 active Saint Albans homes for sale, and with 14 sold real estate listings in December it would take 8.7 months to burn off or sale all listings on the market. Anything over 6 months is considered a Buyer's Market.

Saint Albans WV Homes were creeping up on home buyers in October. 26 homes found new owners and completed escrow. This was an almost 20% improvement over October 2010. The Saint Albans market is always strong and great for resale value. While having a lower average sale price than some other communities, it certainly makes up for it with the average days on the market being only 56! I am very happy for people out there that still have there parents or grand parents I have lost all of minemy grand parents when i was young and my parents in my early 30's you just don't know how much you miss them .so for me so i  could have the ideal of have parents or grand parents around I opened my  home up to the family members that need t have someone help them with there parents or husband or wife ect...
