News just hit that Marquette University, located on Milwaukee's near west side, has puchased or is slated to purchase five buildings in the surrounding area.   This move indicates that Marquette will be expanding the size of its campus, or at least its control over neighboring buidlings.  This is a positive indicator that Marquette plans on continuing its presence on Milwaukee's near west side and plans on growing the size and reach of the university. Many investors who recognize the near west side as a growing, up and coming neighborhood, have purchased properties in the area and immediately surrounding the area. The original press release states:    Marquette University has purchased the Trebor Apartments, 620 N. 17th St. The transaction was completed on Aug. 16.Marquette's location, ... 08/23/2007
