What to do in Ellison Bay this weekend?  We had one Ellison Bay price reduction this past week, one Ellison Bay home listing, and today we're listing vacant land in Ellison Bay, so today's all about Ellison Bay. Home of the Outdoor Fish Boil...The Viking Grill in Ellison Bay, Door County, Wisconsin.   What is an outdoor fish boil?  Traditionally in Door County, we use whitefish.  Boiled red potatos and onions go in the pot (with an exacting amount of salt), and it's served with cole slaw and Door County Cherry Pie.  The finale of this meal--before it even goes on the table--is a "boil over" when kerosine is added to the fire to have the water boil over amidst the flames.  It serves a common cause (gets rid of fish oil), but creates great drama when the flames reach twelve feet high. With warm weather here, we're seeing more and more visitors.  This is a great chance to visit Ellison Bay this spring, enjoy a sunset at Will's Park and Marina, and try an outdoor Fish Boil.
