Uncork Summer! A GEM of an idea blossomed as part of an annual Ellison Bay festival over six years ago, and as Uncorked Summer enters its sixth year, it's still serving as one of the most major draws to the northernmost parts of the Peninsula in the summer.   The 2019 event will be held, as per previous years, on the grounds of the Wickman House, perhaps Door County's most established "foodie" establishment.  In 2011, as a Liberty Grove Town Supervisor, I remember approving the owners' first liquor license in Ellison Bay and wishing them well.  NO ONE could have predicted just exactly how well they'd do.
