                    The Boeing Bluebills are hosting a seminar on Independent Living, in which they will discuss modifications which can be made to your home to prevent falls and accidents, and increase mobility.  ( Things can be installed such as hand rails, grab bars and medical alert systems.                                         This seminar will be Thursday, April 21, at the Port Ludlow Bay Club from 11:00 to 3:00 A social hour and lunch are included.  The Bluebills are retired Boeing engineers who volunteer their time and work to help people in the community with home projects they could not do on their own.                                                04/03/2011

Port Ludlow is a resort community near Port Townsend,  built around the beautiful Port Ludlow Golf course.  It consists of 2- 9 hole rounds; The Tides, featuring water holes, and the Timbers, which has natural forest scenery. Guardian Angels for Soldiers Pets Ever think about what happens to a soldiers pet if he or she is called to active duty in a foreign country?  I just read in a small local publication called the Port Ludlow Voice, about a program to foster pets of soldiers who are being deployed, or have an emergency situation.  This is done through the Military Pet Assistance Program to arrange foster care for the pet, with the plan to reunite them upon the soldier's return home.
